El Campello

El Campello and its history
As they demonstrate the archaeological rests, found in the deposit of the Illa dels Banyets, the first slumses date from very remote times, from the second milennium before Christ and the iberic and roman periods.

In order to defend itself of the habitual incursions of the berberisc pirates, circular watches throughout the coast were constructed to towers. Two clear examples are "the Towers of the Barranc d'Aigües and the Illeta"
