Throughout
the year, El Campello finds varied popular celebrations. At late April
there are celebrations like "Barri de la Creu", those of "Mig
Any", at early May, with its "Great Dance", the Offering
of Flowers and the "entraeta" of Moors and Christians, and at
early June with those of "Barri de la Trinitat".
This
summer, in addition to the spectacles that belong to the "El Campello:
Estic d'estiu" program, also there are religious celebrations to
the Virgen del Carmen, patron of the fishermen, with its marine procession
and its fireworks castle.
Between
the nine and the fifteen of October are celebrated the Patronal Celebrations,
in honor to the "Virgen de los Desamparados", having like outstanding
acts but the Moor Disembarkation at Clot de I'llot, the masquerades parade
and the fights.
